The article analyzes the current state and prospects for the development of the labor market in Uzbekistan, an analysis of the substantive foundations of the organisational and economic mechanism for regulating the labour market. The article examines models and tools for macroeconomic regulation of the labor market, as well as the experience of applying active measures in the labor market in selected foreign countries. Based on a review of foreign sources, the article shows the impact of active macroeconomic policies on employment.
