Khanimana Alibeyli is one of the artists who has a unique place and position in the history of Azerbaijani literature. She has rendered remarkable services in the development of our children's literature. Having lived for 87 years and engaged in artistic creativity for many years, Kh. Alibayli left behind a rich artistic heritage, both in quantity and quality. More than 30 books were published during the artist's lifetime. Khanimana Alibayli's creativity consists of poems, poems and plays written for children and adolescents. Her works are of high value both in terms of quality and quantity. From the first years of her creative work until the end of her life, the valuable artist wrote works only for children and did not leave this field. She took care of children as a doctor and poet. Kh. Alibayli rendered a number of invaluable services in the development of our children's literature The artist's works instill in children feelings of love for the homeland, respect for father, mother, elders, loyalty to friends, sympathy for human labor, and admiration for nature. There are many sources that feed Khanimana Alibayli's creativity. Folklore and folk creativity are the most important of these sources. This aspect does not only apply to the children's works of Khanimana Alibayli, but in general, the development experience of world children's literature shows that folklore is the most reliable source of word creation created for young readers. The influence of oral folk literature on the creativity of Khanimana Alibayli is very comprehensive and multifaceted. Khanimana Alibayli borrowed many themes, plots and episodes from folk literature, benefited from the linguistic and stylistic features of folklore, the world of images, the narrative system, artistic fantasy, and romantic spirit, and wrote interesting poems, poems and plays under the influence of the colorful genres of oral folk literature. The works written by the artist in the folklore style are distinguished by the simplicity, richness of their language, national color, optimistic mood, rich content and beauty of expression. Here, the spirit and traditions of the people are brought to life. Although the themes of Khanimana Alibayli's poems and plays are taken from folk tales, sometimes certain changes were made in the theme, and sometimes in the images and events. The influence of fairy tales on the artist's creativity is broader. The poetess took the theme and plot of individual folk tales and worked for children in various genres or used various episodes, events and heroes of fairy tales in children's poems, poems and plays. She made changes to some folk tales and wrote them in the form of poems. In addition to folk tales, the poetess used labor songs, lullabies, riddles, parables, jokes, etc. genres, their language and stylistic features, and their diverse stylistic possibilities. She used these examples not only in her poems and plays, but also in the composition of her short poems. Kh. Alibayli also created lullabies and songs that were unique to her own pen. Khanimana Alibayli created beautiful examples of art in all three types of literature - lyrical, epic and dramatic. Khanimana khanum is best known as a children's poet. The artist's poems are very diverse and colorful in terms of theme, content and ideas.
