The article analyzes the main possibilities and risks of the digital transformationprocess in the banking and financial system. It was noted that the widespread introduction ofdigital technologies will improve the quality of financial services, reduce operating costs,accelerate customer service processes, and expand digital financial services. At the same time,cybersecurity problems, insufficient development of technological infrastructure, delayedadaptation of the regulatory framework, and issues of human resource readiness are indicated asrisks of digital transformation. According to the research results, for the successfulimplementation of digital transformation in the banking and financial sector, it is necessary toimplement a comprehensive approach, ensure security, improve the digital competencies ofemployees, and strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors.
