Educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism is one of the priority tasks of the educational and social policy of modern civil society. Within the framework of the Five Initiatives proposed by President Sh. Mirziyoyev, favorable conditions are being created for the upbringing and education of youth. Furthermore, the implementation of civic and patriotic education, based on the Concept for Enhancing the Effectiveness of Military-Patriotic Education of Youth for 2023–2027, plays a significant role in ensuring both national security and the personal safety of citizens. True patriotism contributes to the development of positive personal qualities by harmonizing civic responsibility, spirituality, and active social engagement. Protecting state and national interests, safeguarding sovereignty and territorial integrity, maintaining economic, political, and social stability, as well as fostering respect and tolerance toward other nations and cultures are today considered priority tasks of patriotic education for the citizens of Uzbekistan. Patriotic education is a process of shaping moral and worldview characteristics that arise from love and respect for the Motherland, as well as the aspiration to preserve and enrich national traditions and cultural values. Above all, it instills in young people a sense of pride in their country and a readiness to defend it whenever necessary.
