The wound-healing effects of gels prepared from ethyl acetate fractions, obtained from the aerial parts of Stachys hissarica and Stachys betoniciflora, were studied experimentally. To evaluate the wound-healing activity of the gels, an excisional skin wound model was created on the dorsal region of rats. The results confirm that 3% S. hissarica ethylacetate gel and 3% S. betoniciflora ethylacetate gel show promise as agents that accelerate wound healing and reduce the severity of inflammation.
