The article presents an evaluation of the validation procedure of a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the quantitative determination of omeprazole in capsules in accordance with the requirements of leading international pharmacopoeias and the ICH Q2(R1) guideline. The validation was performed according to the parameters of specificity, accuracy, linearity, and precision using an Agilent 1280 chromatographic system and a C18 column with detection at 280 nm. The obtained results confirmed the compliance of the method with current pharmacopoeial requirements and its suitability for application in the pharmaceutical quality control system.
