This article presents a comparative analysis of retail prices for medicines of various trade names containing "Acyclovir," registered in the pharmaceutical market of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the research results, it was found that among a total of 15 branded medicines in the form of tablets containing 200 mg of "Acyclovir," the cheapest product is the domestic manufacturer. Compared to the highest price (Ukraine), it differs by almost 9 times. When conducting a comparative analysis between similar soft dosage forms, it was found that the main widely used group is the 5% 10-gram dosage form, and domestic manufacturers' "Acyclovir" medicines are 9-10 times cheaper than those imported from foreign countries.
