Pelvic organ prolapse is a common pelvic floor problem for women. Pelvic organ prolapse hurts women’s quality of life, hurts women’s productivity, and hurts women’s reproductive health. In recent years researchers have focused on job risk factors; but knowledge about how textile industry work conditions affect pelvic organ prolapse remains limited. Objective. The aim is to study job, medical, and demographic risk factors for pelvic organ prolapse in women who work in the textile industry. Materials and methods. We set up a study with 85 women who have pelvic organ prolapse stage I to III and who work at the Shedevr Premium textile enterprise in Andijan. The study ran from January to July 2025. We examined each participant with a clinical exam and a gynecological exam. We measured the severity of pelvic organ prolapse with the POP Q system. We gave each participant questionnaires. We looked at each participant’s medical history and work related risk factors. We wanted to see how the job at the Shedevr Premium textile enterprise might be linked to pelvic organ prolapse in the women. We looked at age, body mass index, parity, length of work experience, time spent standing at work, chronic constipation, chronic cough, stress urinary incontinence, and obesity. We just processed the data with IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0. The results showed that the most common risk factors were multiparity, overweight, age over 40, and long professional experience. Multiparity showed up as a top factor. Overweight showed up as a top factor. Age over 40 showed up as a top factor. Long professional experience showed up as a top factor. From what we observed, the biggest job factors were standing for long periods, doing the same physical work again and again, and having high pressure inside the belly. We also observed that chronic constipation, stress urinary incontinence, and obesity go with more severe pelvic organ prolapse. In conclusion, pelvic organ prolapse in female textile workers comes from a mix of job factors, health factors, and personal factors. The results we got say we need early screening. We also need prevention and full rehab programs for women who work in jobs that demand a lot of physical effort.
