The article researches Mehdi Husein’s “Nizami” and Kamala Aghayeva’s “Mahsati” dramas. Both authors created beautiful dramas about the rich literary representatives of Ganja of the XIIth century. By creating the image of the literary and cultural representatives of Ganja in the dramaturgy of the XXth century Azerbaijan, Nizami Ganjavi, Mahsati Ganjavi, as well as the XIIth century poet Givami Ganjavi, who was presented as Nizami’s brother, they created certain impressions about that period in the reader. In M. Husein’s work, Nizami Ganjavi is presented not only as a young hero who feels sorry for the fate of the country, but also as a knight who hunts on horseback, loyal to Afag’s love and homeland. In this article, ordinary people, people of art and professions are presented to the readers with great skill (like the architect Abdek). Kamala Aghayeva also created a variety of images by bringing the images of ordinary people in 12th century Ganja (architect Parvar Baba, his daughter Tergul, the architect's assistant Ashraf, and Mohnat, who leads a life of luxury).
