The creation of bibliographic information has been an integral and important area of the information provision process in all periods. As a field of activity, bibliography continues to develop in the modern era, where document circulation is accelerating, while maintaining its informative function as a key determining factor in the process of information exchange between the document and the information user. In this regard, the history of creation and development features of bibliographic resources, which are one of the main existing forms of bibliographic information, always remain as an object of research. The position of current bibliographic resources in the document-request system is characterized by the more innovative delivery of information to users more quickly and efficiently. The process of creating current bibliographic examples in the Republic of Azerbaijan was created by the activities of the Azerbaijan State Book Chamber, and the National Library named after M.F. Akhundov developed and reached its current level of development. The Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and other libraries of republican importance have also contributed to the process of creating current bibliographic resources. The article examines the process of creating existing national bibliographic resources in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and compares the text and statistical indicators of existing bibliographic activity centers.
