This article focuses on the system research of phraseological units in Chinese linguistics. It reviews the scientific works devoted to the study of phraseology and describes its own research results. The emphasis is placed on both theoretical and practical aspects of phraseology in Chinese in order to gain a deeper understanding of their role and functions.
