The purpose of the study. Is to study the activities of general practitioners in the prevention of ophthalmodiabetes by expert analysis. Materials and methods. Evaluation of the work of general practitioners and ophthalmologists was carried out by 4 expert doctors. 112 outpatient cards from 2 family polyclinics of the city of Tashkent were examined. Results. More than half of general practitioners and primary care ophthalmologists do not work to identify early signs of diabetic retinopathy. The absence of systematic monitoring of patients with diabetes mellitus for early detection of ophthalmodiabetes was revealed.
