The aim of our study was to study the features of native tear crystallograms in patients with DR in covid infections. Materials and methods. The authors studied crystallograms in 10 healthy individuals and 14 cases with diabetic retinopathy of the retina at various stages of development of the covid infectious process. Results. With covid infections, diabetic retinopathy in stages with small microaneurysms and microhemorrhages, the main and secondary branches of the crystals begin to swell. When diabetic retinopathy is in the advanced stage of fern-like or chamomile-like crystals, they break off, swell and char the ends of the secondary branches. Separately swollen clusters of crystals are visible. With many hemorrhages, in places all sorts of decency of crystals are violated. Separately torn off swollen clusters of crystals are visible.
