The article discusses the experience of foreign countries regarding the implementation by employees of their labor activity in addition to the main place of work. An analogue of such a legal phenomenon in the territory of the CIS countries is part-time work. The study conducted in this work, based on foreign experience, focuses mainly on the labor legislation of Western countries, as a result of which a number of similar and different features of additional work on the legislation of Western countries and the CIS countries were established. In the study of this industry, the author analyzed the labor laws of European countries, such as Germany, UK, France, Norway and etc. regarding the procedure for hiring part-time; documents required for employment; payment of wages to part-time workers; working hours and rest time of part-time workers; conditions and procedure for termination of an employment contract with part-time workers.
