This article discusses the issues of qualification of certain types of official crimes, their characteristic features and the issue of responsibility based on the analysis of national criminal legislation. In particular, a structural analysis of the constituent elements of official crimes was carried out: its object, subject, objective and subjective side. In addition, an attempt has been made to distinguish between such types of official crimes as abuse of power and official powers, as well as abuse of power and due authority.
