This scientific article describes the importance of administrative procedures, the history of the development of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Administrative Procedures” (hereinafter – LAP / the Law), the structure of the LAP of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the principles of administrative procedures, general rules of administrative procedures, foreign experience in administrative procedures, problems of implementation of administrative procedures, expected changes in the LAP of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The authors of the article reveal the difference between positive and negative administrative law, conduct a comparative analysis of the administrative procedures of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the experience of foreign countries, and also cite the opinion of leading administrative experts. It is noted that administrative procedures are aimed at unifying the provisions of various administrative regulations, which creates convenience for the population (and these amenities are disclosed). In addition, it was found that one of the main differences between the principles of administrative procedures is that many of them have no analogues in other branches of law, as well as an article on the mandatory application of the principles of administrative procedures (Article 19 of the Law).
