Annotatsiya

General practice constitutes a key component of primary health care, providing an effective platform for the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Through continuity of care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered approaches, general practitioners are well-positioned to identify risk factors early, deliver individualized counseling, and manage modifiable behavioral and biomedical determinants. Empirical evidence demonstrates that integrating preventive strategies into general practice contributes to reducing the burden of NCDs, enhancing patient adherence to healthy lifestyles, and improving population health indicators. Therefore, general practice represents a critical and sustainable model for effective NCD prevention.
