Annotatsiya

This article examines the effectiveness of game-based learning in teaching English to young learners. The study focuses on how the use of games can influence students’ motivation, participation, and overall language development, while also promoting a more learner-centered and interactive classroom environment. The research is based on classroom observations and practical teaching experience with beginner-level learners. During the lessons, different types of games such as vocabulary games, speaking activities, and physical movement tasks were actively used to encourage active participation and meaningful language practice among learners. The results show that students become more engaged, confident, and willing to participate in the learning process which contributes to a more effective and enjoyable learning experience. In addition, game-based activities help learners remember new words more easily and reduce their fear of making mistakes. The findings of this study may also provide practical guidance for English language teachers who seek to improve the quality of classroom instruction through interactive teaching methods.
