This article discusses the legal features of obtaining an auditor's qualification certificate and creating an audit organization in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, the article analyzed the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 13, 2019 No. 218 "On the procedure for licensing auditing activities" and the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 14, 2018 No. 144 "On the procedure for assigning auditor qualifications." And also, recommendations are given for improving the legal mechanism for creating audit organizations in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
