The article is devoted to the issues of determining the system of contracts concluded in the electric power industry. The article analyzes the competitive mechanisms used in the electricity markets. Competitive opportunities in the field of electricity and the scientific basis for the further development of this concept in practice can be assessed as an important result of this study, which analyzes the views of scientists. Also, proposals and recommendations were made to identify and improve the system of contracts in the field of electric power industry.
