The author describes the activities and processes of civil society institutions’ development in Uzbekistan, including parliament, political parties, self-government bodies; collected a number of opinions expressed by researchers from a number of centers in Japan that study and highlight the socio-political, economic and legal reforms in our country. The article is based on the opinions of experts conducting research at leading universities in Japan - Waseda University, Tsukuba University, Nagoya University and their research centers.
