Mazkur maqolada o‘smir shaxsining rivojlanishiga ta’sir etuvchi muhim omillar hamda o‘smirlik davriningfiziologik va psixologik xususiyatlari tahlil qilinadi. O‘smirlik davrining mazmuni va chegaralari turli ilmiy maktablar vaolimlar qarashlari asosida yoritiladi. Shuningdek, ushbu davrning ijtimoiy-psixologik xususiyatlari, shaxs shakllanishidagiroli hamda bolalik va yetuklik o‘rtasidagi o‘tish bosqichi sifatidagi o‘rni ilmiy nuqtayi nazardan muhokama qilinadi.
