This article explores methods and pedagogical approaches for developing intellectual skills in preschool preparatorygroups. Intellectual skills encompass children’s abilities to think critically, solve problems, concentrate, and memorize–capacities essential for successful adaptation to school learning environments. The study aims to identify effectivestrategies that support the purposeful and systematic development of these skills in children preparing for school. Acombination of pedagogical observation, standardized testing, interviews with educators and parents, and analysis ofinteractive learning methods was employed. The findings reveal that interactive and play-based activities significantlyimprove children’s cognitive development and school readiness. The article provides recommendations for educators andparents to foster intellectual skill formation in early childhood education
