The review paper substantiates the necessity of a personalized approach to the nutrition of soccer players based on their anthropometric characteristics, Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) measurements by gas analysis, and game role. Current data on the influence of height, hody mass, body composition, andfield position on athletes' energy requirements are presented. Based on the literature analysis, recommendations are given on developing personalized nutrition programs for football players, considering their metabolic parameters, physique, and game specialization, including diet differentiation on training and match days.
