Annotatsiya

Pregnancy is a physiological process, but there is no single system in a woman's body that does not show signs of functional restructuring aimed at maintaining compliance between the capabilities of the adaptive systems of the female body and the needs of the developing fetus. The appearance of inflammatory and inflammatory-destructive periodontal diseases in pregnant women, on the one hand, is associated with the accumulation of tartar, while a high concentration of estrogens, progesterone and prostaglandins, on the other hand, leads to the blood supply of gums. , damage to the cellular immune system, resulting in inhibition of collagen synthesis, and changes in the composition of the subgingival microflora. Inflammatory mediators (cytokines, interleukin-1, IL-6, TNF-a) in turn negatively affect the placenta and fetus. The degree of predisposition to Periodontal diseases varies significantly, and to this day the question remains unclear whether the development of dental diseases is a direct result of pregnancy and whether there are neurohumoral changes in the woman's body or changes in the condition of the organs and tissues of the oral cavity, the cavity is mainly due to the influence of unfavorable local factors in the oral cavity. Currently, there is a need to comprehensively assess the impact of the state and factors of hygienic, social, somatic, reproductive health that occur during pregnancy on the incidence of periodontitis in pregnant women, determine the "severity" of the factors and their strength, impact on integrated disease risk. The initial basis was the presence of a connection between the development of the disease and the factors that functionally affect its development.
