The results of characterizing the clinical manifestations of comorbidpathology in chronic gastroduodenitis associated with Helicobacter pylori infection in children are presented. Analysis showed that this group of children, compared to the control group, exhibited high values of the comorbidity index, which is prognosticate significant for identifying many co-morbidities that exacerbate the course of the underlying disease. It was concluded that the use of comorbidity index parameters is an additional criterion for assessing the emergence of extra-gastric manifestations in chronic gastroduodenitis associated with Helicobacter pylori infection.
