The article presents a complex analysis of clinical manifestations, diagnostic features and approaches to treatment of spondylodiscitis. On the basis of systematization of modern data the main variants of the course of the disease are considered, the key diagnostic criteria and optimal therapeutic strategies are determined. Special attention is paid to the problems of timely diagnosis and selection of optimal treatment tactics. Modern diagnostic methods are presented with the assessment of their informativeness and practical significance. Various approaches to treatment are analyzed, including conservative therapy and surgical methods. Criteria for choosing the optimal tactics of patient management and factors affecting the prognosis of the disease are defined. Practical recommendations on diagnostics and treatment of spondylodiscitis aimed at improvement of therapy results and prevention of complications are developed.
