Annotatsiya

This paper analyzes the phenomenon of interlinguistic interference in the speech of Uzbek students learning English, its phonetic, grammatical, lexical and pragmatic manifestations, and shows methodological approaches to reducing these problems. The study scientifically describes the sources of interlinguistic interference, their connection with the structure of the Uzbek language, and conceptual, contextual, transformational and interactive approaches that can be used in the teaching process. The results of the article are aimed at offering effective methodological solutions in the language teaching process for Uzbek EFL (English as a Foreign Language) audiences.
