This study investigates the cognitive-semiotic and pragmatic characteristics of cyber lexicon in contemporary internet discourse based on English and Uzbek languages. The rapid development of digital communication has led to the emergence of new lexical units, abbreviations, internet slang, emojis, hashtags, and hybrid expressions that influence online interaction. The research analyzes how cyber lexicon reflects cognitive processes, semiotic meanings, and pragmatic intentions in social media communication, online advertising, blogs, and digital platforms. A comparative method was applied to identify similarities and differences between English and Uzbek cyber discourse. The findings reveal that English cyber lexicon demonstrates a high level of globalization and abbreviation, while Uzbek cyber discourse combines national linguistic identity with borrowed technological terminology. Pragmatic analysis shows that cyber lexicon performs expressive, persuasive, and identity-building functions in online communication.
