Mazkur maqolada esse talabalarning kommunikativ kompetensiyasini rivojlantirishning samarali pedagogik vositasi sifatida tahlil qilinadi. Esse yozish jarayonining lingvodidaktik, kognitiv va kommunikativ imkoniyatlari yoritilib, uning talabalarda yozma nutq madaniyati, tanqidiy va ijodiy tafakkur, mantiqiy mushohada yuritish hamda fikrni izchil va dalillangan tarzda ifodalash ko‘nikmalarini shakllantirishdagi o‘rni asoslab beriladi. Shuningdek, esse yaratish faoliyatining kommunikativ kompetensiyaning lingvistik, diskursiv, sotsiomadaniy va strategik tarkibiy qismlarini rivojlantirishga ta’siri ilmiy-metodik nuqtai nazardan tavsiflanadi.
