In Uzbek classical literature, the study of genesis, artistic development, genre features andpoetics of tahmis is important. In literary criticism, tahmisi are studied as an example of literary influence,literary ties, literary and aesthetic views, reflection of the problems of various eras and psyche, an exampleof creative individuality, poetic skill, an example of creative competition, expression of national and universalvalues. This article discusses the literary and aesthetic requirements for tahmis.
