This article explores the manifestation of psychological depth and inner dramatism in the worksof Erkin A’zam, with a particular focus on the short stories «Ta’ziya» and «Stupka.» The author, through theuse of ironic style and symbolic imagery, reveals the inner conflicts, personal tragedies, and spiritual suffering of the characters shaped by the influence of the social environment. The study highlights how symbolicdetails, internal monologues, and contrasts between outer appearance and inner reality reveal the complexlayers of the human psyche.
