This article analyzes the phenomenon of Abdulla Qodiriy based on the theoretical views presented in Matyoqub Qo‘shjonov’s work «The Identity of the Uzbek» It is demonstrated that the essence ofthe Qodiriy phenomenon is associated with the creation of the national novel genre, the artistic expressionof the people’s mentality, and its role in the process of national self-consciousness. In the course of thestudy, comparative-analytical, historical-typological, and theoretical-poetic methods of literary criticism wereapplied. The results highlight Qodiriy’s mastery in character creation, the synthesis of historicity and nationality, the theoretical significance of his images, and the influence of this phenomenon on subsequent literaryprocesses.
