This article expresses an opinion about the factors of the emergence of personal names, which make up a significant part of the lexical layer of the Uzbek language. Also, as a result of changes in the life of society, including the development of science and technology, personal names according to important psychological characteristics of professions - «man-technology», «man-symbol-system», «man-nature», «man-man», «personal-artistic image» are divided into types.
