This article explains the lexsical and semantic features of obsolete words in the discourse of Muhammad Ali’s novels “Sarbadorlar” and “Great Empire“ using examples of form and semantic relations. The article examines the synonymy of obsolete words based on exsamples of analysis, hierarchical relations of lingvistic units: pertonymic and hyponimic relations, hyponymic and hypernymic relations, paradigmatic relations in the allocation of graduonymic words.
