This article talks about the semantic and linguistic-cultural features of some anthroponyms inthe language of fairy tales, one of the genres that tell about the past of each nation. In particular, this articleprovides information on the selection of anthroponyms in folk tales as a sign in the expression of events inthe fairy tale, and focuses on the unique aspects of anthroponyms in the linguistic and cultural views of theUzbek people. Statistical analysis of anthroponyms in fairy tales and which lexical layer they belong to arealso analyzed.
