In this article, ofcial documents in Dari, also known as Afghani Dari, is one of the two ofciallanguages of Afghanistan, the other being Pashto. It belongs to the Iranian branch of Indo-Iranian languagesand is spoken by a signifcant part of the population in Afghanistan. Dari is used in government, media andeducation.
