This article analyzes the pressing problems and prospective directions for implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in the operations of enterprises in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study examines the essence of the ESG concept, its role in the global economy, the current state of affairs in Uzbekistan, as well as the opportunities and barriers facing enterprises. The article develops practical recommendations for the successful integration of ESG principles into the national economy, including an in-depth analysis based on statistical tables and diagrams.
