In this article, based on the analysis of objective and subjective signs of the corpus delicti, it is proposed that excise stamps may be excluded from the list of subjects of the crime provided for in Article 176 of the Criminal Code. The conclusion is considered about the expansion of the objective side of the crime under consideration, including in it such socially dangerous acts as the storage and transportation of counterfeit money or securities. It is also proposed that the possible name and disposition of Article 176 of the Criminal Code, which provides for responsibility for the manufacture, sale of counterfeit money, excise stamps or securities, be set out in a new edition.
