Pathology of the facial nerve is 30 cases per 100 000 population per year, regardless of gender and ethnicity. The paper analyzes the causal and hereditary factors leading to the formation of facial nerve contractures in the examined patients.In scientific work, 163 (100%) patients were examined, of which 66 (40.5%) were men, 97 (59.5%) were women, whose average age was 43 ± 3.4 years. Proven, the clinical course of facial nerve neuropathy is exacerbated by the presence of comorbidity, and complications of facial palsy, leading to defect of parties may be the main reason for the development of mental and emotional changes and reduce the quality of life of the patient.
