The article provides data on gluten enteropathy as a manifestation of malabsorption syndrome. This condition occurs in celiac disease. The authors, on their own observation, cite a case of ineffectiveness of the treatment of paroxysmal ataxia. Only the elimination of the main cause, i.e. gluten enteropathy, was the key to successful treatment.
