The purpose of this study was to test the system of European indicators of dental health among school-age children in Baku. Research methods: for the epidemiological study of dental caries and periodontal diseases among school-age children of key age groups of 12 and 15 years old, the new WHO-2013 recommendations and the system of European dental health indicators - EGOHID were used. We studied 219 children born and permanently residing in Baku. The mean CF of permanent teeth ranged from 2.01812 to 3.38 in 15-year-old schoolchildren in the surveyed areas. The prevalence of periodontal disease on the symptom of bleeding gums reached 39% and 49%. The data of subjective indicators of the surveyed adolescents made it possible to identify the relationship between a number of behavioral factors and the dental status of schoolchildren. In this way. European dental health indicators can be used to monitor the effectiveness of dental caries prevention programs and to comprehensively assess the quality of dental care for school-age children.
