Based on the study of indicators of endogenous intoxication in 66 patients with phlegmon of the maxillofacial region, an increase in the level of endotoxemia was revealed. In the first subgroup of patients, after traditional complex therapy, there was an insufficiently effective decrease in parameters of erythrocyte sorption capacity (ESC) and medium molecular peptides (MMP). The results of the study in the 2nd subgroup of patients showed a favorable effect of sodium hypochlorite solution on purulent wounds, which was manifested by a noticeable normalization of laboratory indicators reflecting the degree of endogenous intoxication to purulent wound.
