Establishing knowledge research and the contribution of Muslim scholars in Central Asia in consolidating human civilization

The development of all sciences, especially Islamic sciences, benefiting Muslims and the peoples of the whole world, was greatly influenced by the work of the scholars of Mawarannahr. We can see that they have achieved high achievements in hadith, fiqh, usul, kalam, tafsir, and other sciences, and the contribution of Mawarannahr scholars in the development of these sciences was unique. The books they wrote are still read and studied and are referred to as sources. Also, they made a great contribution to human civilization by reforming the way of thinking and reasoning and they created the theory of knowledge before the scientists of today's development era. Imam Maturidi, may God have mercy on him, was seven centuries earlier than John Locke, who wrote the theory of knowledge in a comprehensive book for the first time in the new era. What the Muslims did was not limited to emphasizing the importance of the subject of knowledge as a preface to the books of Aqeedah, but they also included revelation or message (wahi) among the sources of knowledge. They pointed out that it is considered a source of knowledge through much evidence, occupies a worthy place on the ladder of knowledge and enlightenment, and the scope of knowledge of mankind is further expanded through the use of revelation. This article aims to highlight the efforts of Mawarannahr scholars in various fields of science, particularly intellectual research. The article consists of several paragraphs, two of which are the main ones. The first is the contribution of Mawarannahr scholars to the development of various sciences, and the second is the foundation of the method of intellectual reasoning. Inductive, descriptive, analytical, and comparative methods were used in the article. The research relied on the works written by Muslim scholars to reveal the historical aspects of the topic. Also, the article referred to the books of the scholars of kalam, especially, the scholars of Maturidiyya, starting with the books of the founder of the school, Imam Abu Mansur Maturidi, taking into account that came before the Ash'arites.
