This article discusses archaeological research in Suyurlitepe, a new urban monument found in the Akhangaron district of Tashkent region, the origin of the city, its internal structure and its role in the socio-economic life of the region based on the rich material obtained during excavations. As a result of the study of the Suyurlitepa monument, the property of Vagnze, a religious and cult center located in the north-east of the city, was studied. According to the historical topography of the monument, it shows that in the period of late antiquity and the early Middle Ages, the population of the ancient Ilak oasis played a special role in the socio-cultural life of all of Central Asia and the Ancient East.
