This article analyzes the role of the internal affairs bodies in the management system of Soviet power in the country in the 20-30s of the twentieth century, the tasks and powers assigned to the internal affairs bodies of Uzbekistan after the national-territorial demarcation in Central Asia, the adoption of legal and regulatory documents related to their activities.
