This article analyzes some problems of the education system of Uzbekistan during the Soviet period. It is noted that the main goal of the Soviets in creating a new education system in Uzbekistan was to promote communist ideas while ensuring literacy. It is also scientifically proven that the policy that was carried out by the Soviets in the field of education was supposedly aimed at increasing the literacy of the population, but in fact it was subordinated to the interests of the empire and the Communist Party.
