This article examines the location and history of the monuments of the Denovsky district of the Surkhandarya region, the conduct of archaeological excavations, as well as the activities of scientists who participated in this process. In particular, in the 90s of the twentieth - early twenty-first century, scientists who had significant scientific significance in the analysis of archaeological monuments of the Denovsky district, that is, such researchers as E.V. Rtveladze, A.S. Sagdullaev, Sh. B. Shaidullaev, Z. Khalikov, T. Annaev, their works were subjected to scientific analysis.
