This article talks about the first stage of the development of tourism in the Fergana Valley in the 1920s and 1930s, the emergence of experimental and planned tourism and its political significance. Information about the state of tourism in the years of the former union and the measures taken for its further development, the creation of legal foundations, newly established travel destinations. Also, this issue was analyzed on the basis of literature, archival materials and scientific conclusions were presented.
