Annotatsiya

The method of detecting delayed neutrons (MDN) during uranium fission is the most convenient and promising methods for analyzing uranium ores. The availability of high intensity Cf252 and Sb-Be neutron sources and the needs of the geological industry stimulated to create asetup and analysis method using MDN, which allowed one to determine uranium with a detection limit of ≈10 g/t. The data obtained were used by one of the largest geological explorationorganizations in the Republic.
